Who can become a member?
Any person or legal entity conducting business of a commercial nature in the area covered by the West Sweden Chamber of Commerce and Industry (the province of Västra Götaland and the cities of Varbergs Kungsbacka) are eligible for membership. Membership fee
The membership fee is based on the number of full-time employees working in the province of Västra Götaland and in the cities of Varberg and Kungsbacka. The membership fee is divided into an annual fee and a service charge. The service charge is tax deductible.
1. The annual fee for the West Sweden Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association: SEK 350 (not tax deductible)
2. Service compensation paid to Western Sweden Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Service AB: SEK 77/full-time employee (tax deductible). Service charges are subject to VAT.
The overall cost of membership is the sum of the annual fee plus the service charge as shown in the calculation below, however not less than SEK 3500, (350+3150 excl. VAT) per year.
Membership fee calculation: SEK 350 + SEK 77 x no. of full-time employees = total membership fee.
